Is there anyone on earth who never lie before? (except Jesus Christ of course) I guess not. We all ever lied to family, friends even to our spouse!

On 25 Nov 07 night, after Gereja Oikos Singapore Christmas event, named Christmas Almighty, we (Heri, Dedy, and me) chitchatting with ko Hindra, our guest speaker. We are watching him doing some magic tricks while using the tricks to preach about God’s words. See how amazing and creative our God is!

There is one trick where he said that once we lied, we will keep lying for the second, third, etc. For example, if your mom ask you to post a lettter, but you forgot to do it. Then later your mom ask you regarding the letter, and you lied that you had sent them. (you lied once!). Then your mom asked, where did u send it. You answered, to xx post box (you lied twice!). Then she ask again, how much the postage, the you answer $xx ( see, you lied again, thrice!!). One lie leads to another lie.

Guess what, it happened to me yesterday!!

Like usual, I woke up late, too lazy to go to office. I told my supervisor that I was feeling unwell. Yes, that was the first lie. Then I went to see doctor. That was many lies. The next day, I come in and my supervisor ask me again. Yes, I lied again.

Realizing this made me very sad I lied! As a Christian, I lied. I’m not dramatizing this. I am really sad!

So please, for those who really can avoid lying, please.. Just DONT do it.. (anti Nike this time )
