Lily Collins' Emily Cooper was spotted shooting scenes for the Netflix series in Rome on Monday and was joined by handsome newcomer Eugenio, 32. 

It appears the star has found love again in the upcoming series of Emily In Paris as she filmed a romantic Trevi Fountain scene with her new co-star. 

While little is known about the upcoming series, it seems Lily has a new romantic interest, judging by the gooey-eyed snaps taken of her in the Italian capital.

At the end of the last series, Emily was dumped by her boyfriend Alfie [Lucien Laviscount], after he declared he would be nobody's second option.

Who is Eugenio Franceschini?  

Eugenio was born in Verona, Veneto, Italy on September 19, 1991. 

He is an actor and often stars in comedy, romance, and drama movies. 

He is best known for his roles in movies such as Maldamore, Sapore di te, Io e Angela, and Medici. 

He also won the Guglielmo Biraghi Award at the Italian National Syndicate of Film Journalists in 2014 for his roles in Sapore De Ti and Maldamore. 

Where do we know him from?   

Eugenio began his career as an actor and has since appeared in several Italian movies and TV shows. 

He starred in an Italian comedy movie named Reckless, La Rosa dell'Istria, Grand Hotel, and the psychological thriller movie Weekend. 

Eugenio also starred in a war documentary called Fango e Gloria, in which he starred as the leading character Mario, who struggled during World War I. 

His latest role was for a mini-comedy series called Gloria, in which he plays the role of Gabriele. 

His father is Gianni Franceschini, a theatre actor who taught his son everything he knows.

His dating history and the name of his current partner is currently unknown, however, it is reported that he met his current partner on the set of Medici.

How did he begin his acting career? 

Eugenio began working at his parent's theatre company Viva Opera Circus where he played several leading roles. 

At the age of 18, he moved to Rome and began his career in cinema at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. 

He also attended an acting course which was led by Giancarlo Giannini. 

In 2012, he made his debut on the big screen with the movie White as Milk, Red as Blood by Giacomo Campiotti. 

From 2013 to 2015 he was the protagonist in the theatre alongside Leo Gullotta in the show Prima Del Silence by Giuseppe Patroni Griffi in Rome.
